Volunteer & Lead in One of Toronto’s Most Iconic Cultural Celebrations
The Toronto Chinatown Festival returns this July 25&26, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to help bring the event to life! Whether you’re eager to lend a helping hand or ready to step up as a team leader, this is your chance to be part of something meaningful, exciting, and rooted in community.
General Volunteers – Be Part of the Action
As a volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of the festival—helping with setup and teardown, greeting guests, guiding visitors, supporting performers, hosting activity booths, and much more. It’s a great way to meet people, explore culture, and earn volunteer hours (bonus hours for 3+ shifts!).

Volunteer Team Leaders – Step Up & Lead
Want to take your festival involvement to the next level? Volunteer Team Leaders help supervise volunteers, lead designated zones, manage booths, and assist with planning and admin work before the big weekend.
Ideal for those with past volunteer experience and a passion for community leadership, this role offers hands-on event experience and a deeper connection to the festival.
📌 Requirements:
Available for at least one morning or one night shift
Attend mandatory orientation in TBA
Willing to support prep and attend training sessions
